The experienced counseling staff at C3 offers a variety of therapy options to meet your needs. We offer the following therapeutic options to our clients:

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a collaborative process, between you and the therapist, working toward common goals. Therapy can inspire change and improve your quality of life.

You might seek individual therapy for help with issues that are hard to face alone, such as depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), professional burnout, grief and loss, addiction, strained relationships, spiritual confusion, questions regarding sexuality, poor body image, struggles with weight or food, disordered eating, loneliness, and other stressful factors that create barriers to living your best life.

Together, we can collaborate and help you overcome obstacles, challenge limiting beliefs, enhance skills for handling difficult situations, increase your wellbeing and ability to make healthy decisions so you can find freedom and joy.

Couples Therapy

Couples therapy is also called marriage counseling, or couples counseling, and it is designed to help couples solve or reduce their problems with new skills and tools.

Don’t wait until it is too late! Research shows that often couples wait to seek counseling until their relationship has reached crisis status, when underlying issues could have been addressed earlier, saving the couple tons of heartbreak.

If this is you, don’t despair, we can help couples heal from infidelity, “emotional cheating”, virtual infidelity, broken trust, loss of connection, challenges with communication, recycling the same old argument over and over, challenges with sex, money, major life changes or transitions, as well as stressful incidents like the loss of a loved one, or job.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is designed to reduce distress and conflict in the family system. Family counseling is an ideal method for helping family members better cope with and support a family member struggling with addiction, medical issue, or mental health diagnosis. This is our specialty.

At C3, family counseling aims to promote understanding and collaboration among family members to solve problems that affect the family system as a whole. As our work uncovers issues within the system, there is no blame or judgement. We address these challenges together, to create sustainable changes that support a better life for the whole family.

EMDR

EMDR Is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a type of therapy that helps people heal from trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, chronic pain, addiction, and other types of emotional distress. Studies show that EMDR can help people experience the benefits of therapy that once took years to make a difference.

When you cut your hand, your body works to close the wound, but if a foreign object irritates the wound, it festers and causes continuous pain. Once the block is removed, healing resumes. EMDR therapy demonstrates a similar sequence of events with mental processes. The brain’s information processing system naturally moves toward mental health. If the system is blocked or imbalanced by the impact of a disturbing event, the emotional wound festers and causes suffering. Once the block is removed, healing resumes.

Katrina Harris, LMFT is trained and experienced in using the detailed protocols of EMDR to help people remove the blocks that keep them from living their best lives and activate their natural healing processes.
